Note: This calculator provides an estimate based on the loan amount, interest rate, loan tenures, optional SIP amount, and expected SIP return entered by the user. The SIP amount in the Longer Loan + SIP option is based on the difference between the shorter-loan EMI and the longer-loan EMI, plus any optional extra SIP amount. The SIP is assumed to continue for the entire selected longer loan period and is not withdrawn during the loan tenure. The Net Advantage figure subtracts the extra interest paid on the longer loan tenure (compared to the shorter tenure) from the estimated SIP corpus, to give a more realistic picture of the benefit. Mutual fund returns are market-linked and actual returns may be higher or lower than the assumed return. Actual loan EMI, interest, bank charges, taxes, prepayment terms, and investment returns may vary.
